The last few Sunday’s I’ve watched “Undercover Boss” on CBS. Probably only because it comes on after basketball games, but that’s beside the point. I’ve kind of gotten hooked. It’s amazing that these company owners and CEOs spend days working the low level jobs at their companies in order to improve things. If I was that high in a company, there’s no way I would want to go work in the lowest level jobs, even if it’s only temporarily… especially at White Castle in Hamilton, Ohio. I’m not being snobby — I went to high school in Hamilton — just sarcastic.
I noticed that it seems like a lot of the employees that are featured on the show have had just horrible lives. It’s so sad. The things that the CEOs and owners do for these people who are so unfortunate is really cool. And the fact that these execs want to make changes is a great thing.
I recommend watching, it’s a really good show, and a great concept.
