I apologize in advance to any of you who are, unfortunately, still addicted to MTV.
Since when has there been a “Teen Cribs” on MTV? I must be out of the loop because until about 20 minutes ago, I had no idea that it existed. Is MTV finding it so hard to create a new show on their network that they’re turning to teen celebs’ homes? I mean these kids don’t even own the homes, their parents do! Not to say that everything on MTV is crap, but “Teen Cribs” is seriously pushing it. Remember when MTV actually played music videos? I can hardly remember those days. Most of their current shows don’t even have anything to do with music. I realize that “The Real World” and such are still popular, but so many of the shows are just pure crap. In all honesty, there are better things on TV to be watching than “The Hills” and all of those other super scripted “reality” shows.
At least the Golden Globes are Sunday — and that’s something to look forward to!

I find it hard to believe the kind of life that some teens are living. I sure hope that they, like their parents, work hard to provide an even better life for their children than they had. It might be hard to beat, but the lackadaisical world of things being brought to your on a silver platter can stunt the growth of an already fragile mind. Wheather these children go on to do something great, or even just become a socialite, these kids are our future. Should they really have millions of dollars spent on their childhood room alone?

I agree. These children will never know what it’s like to really work hard for your money if life is like this for them. Honestly, can being a socialite be considered hard work? These kids have everything at their fingertips, resources, money, and eventually power. They should be our future doctors, politicians, and activists, or even musicians and actors, or whatever else they want to be.
